Return Policy

RETURN POLICY

 
WITHDRAWAL

When you've placed an order with our webshop, you may exercise your right of withdrawal within 30 days after receiving your order. During the reflection period you will handle the product and its packaging with care, and only  unpack or use the product to the extent necessary for establishing the nature, the characteristics and the effect of the product.  The guiding principle is that you may only handle and inspect the product in the manner in which one is allowed to handle a product in a store.

If you wish to return one or several products, please follow these guidelines:

1) Send us an email informing us of the product(s) you wish to return. Please include the product model number and your order number.
2) Return the product(s) with all delivered accessories, if reasonably possible in its original state and packaging, unused, and include a copy of your invoice, your order number and the IBAN number used. After your return shipment has been received and processed by our Returns Department, the amount due will be refunded within 14 days to the account that was used to pay for the order.

The direct costs for the return shipment are to be paid by the customer. We do however refund the shipping costs you paid when placing your original order. 
 

 

WRONG ORDER

There's always a chance of ordering the wrong product by mistake, for example in the wrong size or color. You can return these products as follows:

1) Send us an email informing us of the products you wish to exchange. Please include the product model number and your order number.
2) We will send you an email with further instructions in return. This email will include a link with which you can create a return request.
3) Send your return product to us with all delivered accessories and if reasonably possible in its original state and packaging, unused, within 14 days after receipt.

Returned products must be in immaculate condition. Products that have already been assembled will not be accepted.


Damaged Products

Did you receive a damaged or broken item? Please contact our customer service department by email at info@hollandbikeshop.com or via telephone number +31 (0)70 3000044. We will walk you through the return process of the damaged item(s). We strive to send you a new and undamaged product within two business days. 

WARRANTY

All products sold by Hollandbikeshop.com come with the standard manufacturers or suppliers warranty. If you feel that your product is defective and you are eligible for a warranty claim, please send us a picture of the product via email first, along with your order number and a description of the defect. One of our employees will then contact you.
In case of a valid claim for a product that is no older than 2 years, you can send your claim to our return address. Shipping costs for returns are to be paid by the consumer.

Hollandbikeshop.com will determine in collaboration with the manufacturer whether your claim is eligible for warranty and whether your product(s) will be replaced or repaired. Any (additional) costs that could emerge for the defective product are not eligible for a refund.

UK Returns – Important Information

Do not return your order yourself.
Due to UK tax regulations, we cannot accept parcels sent directly to our facility. If you send your return without using our process, the package will be returned to you.

The return label is included in the box with your product(s). Returns are free of charge.

You must return your package within 30 days of receipt.

How to return your item:

1. Find the QR code that came in the box with your order.
2. Scan the QR code using your phone or tablet.
3. Select the item(s) you wish to return.
4. Download your free return label and prepare the package for shipping.
5. Include a note in the box explaining the reason for your return (e.g. wrong product, damaged, doesn’t fit, etc.).
6. Ensure the product is in immaculate condition. Products that have already been assembled will not be accepted.

Lost the QR code or didn’t receive one?

If you did not receive a QR code or have lost it, please contact us at helpdesk@hollandbikeshop.com.

Please include the following in your message:

- Your full name
- Your order number
- A list of the item(s) you want to return

We will send you a new link to start your return.
 

Cancellations

All cancellations must be submitted in writing. This can be done by email at helpdesk@hollandbikeshop.com.
Always include your full name and order number in your written cancellation.


Damaged Products

Have you received a damaged or broken item?
Please contact our customer service team by email at helpdesk@hollandbikeshop.com or by phone at +31 (0)70 3000044. We will guide you through the return process for the damaged item(s). Our goal is to send you a new, undamaged product as soon as possible.
 

Warranty

All products sold by Hollandbikeshop.com come with the standard manufacturer’s or supplier’s warranty.

If you believe your product is defective and eligible for warranty, please email us at helpdesk@hollandbikeshop.com with:

- A photo of the product
- Your order number
- A description of the defect

One of our team members will review your case and contact you.

If your claim is valid and the item is less than two years old, you can send the warranty claim to our returns address. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the consumer. The return address is listed below:

Whether a product is eligible for warranty, and whether it will be replaced or repaired, will be determined by Hollandbikeshop.com in collaboration with the manufacturer.
Please note that any (additional) costs related to a defective product that are not part of the warranty claim will not be refunded.
