The story of Hollandbikeshop.com
Started as a local bike store and grown into a global online bike retailer. One thing remains the same: sharing our passion for bikes with the whole world. Now, with an extensive range of more than 100,000 products and services in more than 180 countries, we spread this love of cycling worldwide.

Everything under one roof
At Hollandbikeshop, we promise to do our utmost to provide our customers with the ultimate cycling experience. That's why we pride ourselves on being a one-stop shop for everything cycling. Whether you're looking for a new bike, parts or the latest technological gadgets, you'll find it under one roof with us. Not only do we have the largest selection in cycling, but we are also the first to bring new items online. So we always provide our customers with the latest trends and the best products the bicycle market has to offer.
The history of Hollandbikeshop
2008 The beginning of a bicycle adventure
Our webshop started in a small 5 m2 office in our bike store in Voorburg. Soon the demand for our products proved to be great and we grew out of our depth.
2011 Expansion in language and scope
We moved to larger premises in Voorburg and shortly thereafter we expanded into the international market with our web store in English and German.
2012 Additional space
Just one year later we rented an additional space next to our respective building to make our warehouse even bigger.
2013 Launch in more countries
Our journey continued with expansions into the languages Danish, Spanish, French and Italian.
2015 Larger and wider reach
With the aim of sharing our passion for cycling around the world, in 2015 we also launched our webshop in Finnish, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Swedish, Czech and Romanian.
2016 Our current premises
We settled into new premises in Wateringen, where we are still located today.
2017 Webshop in 18 languages
Crossing even more borders: since 2017 Hollandbikshop is also accessible in Japanese, Korean, Russian and Chinese. That brings us to a magnificent milestone of no less than 18 languages.
2020 Setback and major milestone
A fire in our building in Wateringen was a major setback. Thanks to our employees who worked with all their might, we fortunately recovered quickly. As a reward for this hard work, this year marked a milestone of 1 million parcels delivered. Proof of our impact around the world.
2022 Webshop in 180 countries
This year we delivered in 180 different countries. And our journey is far from over. We have plans to broaden our reach even more and serve our customers even better.
2024 Family company
In 2024, we are breaking new ground as an authentic family business by actively involving our sons and daughter in the company. This move not only illustrates the enrichment of Hollandbikeshop to the next generation, but also reinforces our commitment to future growth and the continued success of our company.
