Orders

When will I receive my order?

Your order will be shipped as soon as your order and payment have been confirmed.
We'll send you an email confirmation to let you know when it's been shipped.

How soon can I expect my order?

If you live in the Netherlands, you should receive your order within 2 business days. Delivery will take a few days longer if you live abroad.
For bicycles and unicycles you should expect a delivery time of around 5 business days.
Delivery abroad will also take a few days more for orders containing bicycles or unicycles.
Please check our table of current delivery times for additional information.

Was my order successful? I haven't received any confirmation yet.

You've placed an order but haven't received our confirmation email?
Please try waiting a few hours, as confirmation emails can sometimes be delayed.
If you still haven't received an email after waiting 24 hours, please contact us via email or by telephone and we will look into it for you.

I received an email telling me a product in my order is not in stock. What should I do?

Depending on the type of product you ordered, we'll be able to inform you regarding the expected delivery time for the item. In some cases a product might no longer be available or have a considerable waiting time. Should this be the case, of course we will assist you in finding an alternative product. 

Can I pick up my order?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to pick up your order.

Is it possible to change the order I just placed?

Have you gone through the checkout process and clicked the Confirm button?
In that case you've officially placed the order, and it can no longer be changed. 
If you need to change something or cancel your order, we ask that you send us an email and that you include the order number in the subject line of your email. Our customer service will help and advise you. 

How soon will I receive a refund if my order was unsuccessful?

The amount you paid should be back in the account you used for payment within a few days after our confirmation. 
Are you uncertain whether your order was successful, or would you like to cancel it?
Please send us an email with your request and clearly state the order number in your message.
We will then contact you as soon as possible.

How do I place an order at Hollandbikeshop.com?

Once all the products you want to order are in your shopping cart, go to the shopping cart and click the Checkout button.
You'll be taken to the checkout page.

1.    Billing Address - You'll be asked to enter your information. If you already have an account, this is where you can log in.
Fields with a * are mandatory.

2.    Delivery and Payment - Below you'll find the shipping method and shipping costs, as well as the available payment methods.
A short explanation of each payment method can be found here

3.    Verify your order - Check your information and order overview to make sure everything is correct, before clicking Confirm.
If you want, you can add a special reference or instructions in the Order Reference field.
After you've confirmed your order, you'll be taken to the page of the payment method you selected.

Why is there a Service Code box?

If you've sent an order or part of an order back to us, we generally provide you with a Service Code.
By entering this Service Code when placing your next order, you will be exempt from paying shipping costs.
You can only enter the Service Code before going to the checkout page, so be sure to enter the code before clicking Checkout.

What's a CombiDeal?

CombiDeals give you a discount when you're buying a larger product, like an e-bike or bicycle seat, and need additional parts or accessories for it to function properly.
For example, you're buying a new bicycle seat and want to add a styling set and a luggage carrier adapter to your order, so the seat will fit your bicycle.
You can - and by combining these products into a CombiDeal, you'll be able to purchase them with a nice discount.

Are all your products eligible for a CombiDeal?

Unfortunately, no.
Products eligible for a CombiDeal are usually those that need other products (sold separately) to function, like a bicycle or bicycle seat.
If a product you're interested in is eligible for a CombiDeal, you'll find the CombiDeal option in the product description.
At the bottom of the product page you will find the CombiDeal header, and below it the possibility to enter other products into the CombiDeal. When you click one of these products, it will be added to your Deal.
