Schwalbe bicycle tires are sold all over the world, from America to South Africa, from Japan to Australia.
Schwalbe is the leading bicycle tire company in Europe, for two reasons:
First of all, Schwalbe employees are real tire fanatics!
They’re experts in bicycle tires, although in recent years they’ve expanded their range to include wheelchair tires.
Secondly, Schwalbe tires are only sold by specialized bicycle shops,
as specialist advice and excellent customer service are essential to Schwalbe.
The Schwalbe brand is owned by the Bohle enterprise, a company that has been run by the Bohle family
since it was founded in 1922.
It is currently run by the third Bohle generation.
Its main office is located in Germany, with subsidiaries in the Netherlands, England, France and Italy.
It also has affiliates in 28 other countries and is in a joint venture with the Korean tire manufacturer Hung-A.
Production takes place in Indonesia.
There’s no needs to re-invent the wheel, as there’s no more room for improvement in this phenomenon,
but tires are a different story.
And that’s what Schwalbe is all about: producing the best tires in the world.
For every cyclist, on every continent.
