Optimal tooth design with a treatment that results in a longer lifespan. The tooth design enhances the speed and smoothness of the chain operation during shifting. With this tooth shape, the stresses on the chain are reduced, allowing it to rise more quickly on the larger chainrings. The larger sprockets are grouped in threes and mounted on an aluminum carrier frame. This increases stiffness, and the individual sprockets are 70% more torsionally stiff.
