With a focus on high maintenance ease, the latest product from the brake specialists in Bad Urach is primarily aimed at commuters and leisure riders. The CT disc brakes, available with 2- and 4-piston calipers, are designed for all-road use (city, trekking, touring) and light off-road terrain outside of asphalt. In combination with the "Magura E-Bike Optimised" components (Sport brake pads and MDR-C / MDR-P brake discs), they are also intended for use on E-bikes.

The Magura CT4 is a comfortable and low-maintenance disc brake for city use. With an optimized ergonomics of the brake lever and a performance-oriented 2-piston caliper, it is the perfect all-rounder for city and all-road use. In the flat mount version, it also impresses with its sleek and elegant design.
Comfortable ergonomics & worry-free braking performance
The transmission ratio and ergonomic features of the Magura CT brake levers are perfectly tuned to the demands of city and all-road use. With a clearly defined pressure point, very little effort required, and easy modulation, the brake levers provide safety and control in every situation.

The completely newly developed axial sensor of the CT brake levers is based on an enlarged reservoir, which reduces the risk of air entering the system, ensuring long-lasting perfect functionality. The use of durable and quiet Magura Sport brake pads also emphasizes the entire brake system's focus on low-maintenance durability.

Proven performance with 2-piston braking power
Based on the award-winning MT calipers, the Magura CT4 FM caliper with its 2 pistons also delivers excellent braking performance that is characteristic of the manufacturer, ensuring safe stops in the city at all times. The high heat resistance ensures predictable distribution of braking power at any moment, even during long and repeated decelerations. Despite its compact size, the sleek flat mount version does not fall short in performance compared to the "larger" Magura models.

When the braking performance is combined with the "Magura E-Bike Optimised" components, the CT4 caliper also showcases all its advantages on electrically assisted bikes. The quiet Magura Sport brake pads not only score points with their short braking time but, together with the stiffened MDR-P or MDR-C brake discs, also prevent premature wear to guarantee consistent braking performance in the long term.

A mixture of high-tech polymers and carbon or glass fibers is transformed into a plastic granulate through various complex processes. During the manufacturing process of this granulate into the finished part, the carbon fibers are optimally tuned to the load requirements.

With this Carboflow process, the granulate can be injection molded into any desired shape. Compared to the classic lightweight material aluminum, Carbotecture® offers significant advantages: With the same tensile strength and break strength as aluminum, Carbotecture® is 50% lighter, weighing only half as much.
