The DT Swiss 240 hub utilizes the Ratchet DEG 90 DF freehub system, boasting 90 engagement points that deliver a rapid 4° engagement angle when power is applied. Additionally, the selectable 0°, 10°, or 20° Degrees of Freedom setting offers controlled free movement before engagement, helping to reduce pedal kickback and enabling the rear suspension to move more freely over roots, rocks, and successive impacts. The hookless tubeless-ready rim features a 30 mm internal width to support modern mountain bike tires. DT complite T-head spokes combine low weight with the stability required for demanding rides. This wheel comes equipped with a fitted SRAM XD freehub for compatibility with 11V and 12V MTB cassettes, and a Shimano Micro Spline freehub conversion kit is also included for easy cassette interface changes.
