This Ratchet DEG DF upgrade kit from DT Swiss transforms a compatible Ratchet DEG rear hub into Degrees of Freedom technology featuring a 90-tooth ratchet system. The system can be configured for 0°, 10°, or 20° of additional free movement before engagement, minimizing the impact of chain tension on the rear suspension. This enhancement helps to limit pedal kickback and allows the suspension to operate more freely over roots, rocks, and repeated impacts. The kit is designed for compatible mountain bike hubs originally equipped with a Ratchet DEG 72T or 90T system. This complete version includes the dedicated DT Swiss installation tool, all necessary internal ratchet components, and special grease. Please note, it is not compatible with classic Ratchet, Ratchet LN, or Ratchet EXP hubs.
