This Ratchet DEG DF Hybrid upgrade kit from DT Swiss transforms a compatible 60-tooth Ratchet DEG rear hub into Degrees of Freedom technology. The system can be configured for either 0° or 10° of additional free movement before engagement, effectively reducing the impact of chain tension on the rear suspension. This minimizes pedal kickback and allows the suspension to react more freely over roots, rocks, and other challenging terrains. The Hybrid construction is designed to handle the higher torque loads of electric mountain bikes. This version includes the necessary DT Swiss installation tool, along with the internal ratchet components and special grease required for the conversion. Please note, it is not suitable for classic Ratchet, Ratchet LN, or Ratchet EXP hubs, so be sure to verify your hub system before placing an order.
