The oil has passed the "Dyno test" in two independent laboratories on two continents:
Friction Facts (US) and Wheel Energy (Finland).

In both tests the results were as follows:
in the Friction Facts lab, Rex Lube was the 10th fastest of the 55 lubricants ever tested,
with an average friction of 5.48 W.
however, the most efficient lubricants are not used for chain lubrication (olive oil, hard paraffin)
or solvent-based lubricants with much shorter repeat intervals
chain oil from Rex was the fastest of solvent-free oils and evaporators tested in friction facts. (tested 7/2015)
Rex did better than mineral-based oils and lubricants based on solvents in the mileage tests
performed by Wheel Energy.

Rex chain oil has been tested for two years in all possible driving conditions in summer and winter,
on the road and on MTB. The oil combines the best properties of so-called dry and wet
lubricants and is therefore a real oil for all conditions, year-round oil for all cyclists.

Oil runs up to 500 kilometers under dry conditions on the road.
Usually the chain may only be wiped with a dry cloth before it is used again.
When using Rex Chain Lube for the first time and for the best results,
it is better to degrease the chain completely.
The best lubrication performance and long service life are achieved after 3-4 applications,
ie when the lubricant has completely penetrated into the chain.
