The Mudcover for the G.Series is a neoprene cover that protects the mechanical construction of the parallel suspension by.Schulz seatposts G1 and G2 in the Long Travel edition against dirt and moisture.
The mechanism continues to work just fine.
The cover also prevents fingers from getting caught, eg when installing a child seat.
