This Dugast Typhoon is a handmade tubular cyclocross tyre developed for mixed to loose course conditions. Its versatile tread provides dependable traction on grass, loose soil, damp ground and muddy sections while retaining enough rolling efficiency for faster and firmer parts of the course. The tread’s integrated radius control supports predictable cornering and helps the tyre maintain grip through unpaved bends. This version uses the Flying Doctor casing, which combines a supple cotton construction with Kevlar reinforcement for improved puncture resistance and greater stability when riding at low cyclocross tyre pressures. Vittoria A. Dugast’s 2C formulation balances grip and durability, while the neoprene coating protects the casing against water and mud absorption. The tyre has a nominal width of 33 mm and ribbon size L. As a tubular tyre, it must be glued or fitted with suitable tubular tape to a compatible 28-inch tubular rim.
