These Cyclotech Prostop brake pads are complete post-mounted pads designed for compatible cantilever rim brakes and are specifically made for aluminum braking surfaces. They serve as replacements for pads that have worn down, hardened, become contaminated, or developed uneven rim contact, helping to restore controlled braking while minimizing unnecessary wear on the rim. The set includes two pads for servicing one brake, and the mounting posts allow for adjustments in height, angle, and toe-in against the rim. Before riding, ensure that both pads make contact only with the braking track, clear the tire, and sit evenly on either side of the wheel.
