CycloTech Prostop Brake Pad Cartridge Shimano/Sram Carbon

These Cyclotech Prostop HP-C brake pad inserts are designed to fit compatible 55 mm Shimano and SRAM road rim-brake cartridge holders and are specifically formulated for carbon braking surfaces. They serve as replacements for inserts that have become worn, hardened, contaminated, or damaged due to excessive heat, allowing undamaged cartridge holders to remain in service. Be sure to check the holder profile and the rim manufacturer’s brake pad requirements before ordering, as Campagnolo holders use a different insert shape, and HP-C inserts must not be used on aluminum braking surfaces. When switching from alloy-rim pads, thoroughly clean the holders to remove any embedded metal fragments, install the inserts in the marked direction, and readjust pad height, toe-in, and rim clearance before carefully bedding them in.
