These Cyclotech Subzero refill pads are designed to fit reusable Subzero cooling backplates compatible with Shimano SLX, XT, XTR, Deore, and related two-piston disc-brake calipers. Their sintered compound is ideal for sustained braking, wet conditions, and high temperatures, making them perfect for replacing worn, glazed, or contaminated friction material. Please note that the refill pads cannot be installed directly into the brake caliper without the matching Cyclotech cooling backplates, so ensure that the correct Subzero fins are already fitted or ordered separately. During replacement, be sure to inspect and clean the rotor, retract the pistons evenly, assemble the refill pads correctly in the cooling backplates, and bed in the completed brake-pad assembly progressively.
