The semi-metallic carbon compound is engineered to endure the repeated braking loads and additional heat associated with e-bikes and pedelecs, making this bulk quantity ideal for workshops, rental fleets, and service departments. Be sure to check the exact model printed on the caliper before ordering, as similarly named SRAM brakes may require different pad shapes. During replacement, inspect the rotor for contamination, scoring, and minimum thickness, retract the pistons evenly, and install the slide-in pads with appropriate retaining hardware. Then, center the caliper and progressively bed in each new set.
