The bulk quantity is perfect for workshops and fleets that frequently replace this popular Shimano pad shape due to wear from friction material, glazing, or contamination. Please note that the supplier’s “first generation” description should not be the only compatibility reference, as various generations and group names may have different pad formats; always check the model number printed on the caliper. During installation, be sure to inspect the rotor for scoring, contamination, and minimum thickness, carefully retract the pistons, secure the slide-in pads with appropriate retaining hardware, and progressively bed in each newly installed set.
