The inner core of the Herrmans Nucore Town Wave is made from a biocomposite of natural fibers and recycled polypropylene. The outer layer is composed of bio-based TPE made from renewable resources such as plants, vegetables, and conventional TPE. The biomaterial mix of Nucore contains, depending on the model, 25 to 30% bio-based material.
