Deda Alanera RS Topcap Incl. M6 30mm Screw - Black

This Deda headset top cap is specifically designed for the Alanera RS integrated cockpit and comes with a matching M6 x 30 mm aluminum compression screw. It is positioned above the stem and fork steerer, allowing for the preloading of headset bearings before the stem clamp bolts are tightened. This set is perfect for replacing a lost, scratched, or damaged original top cap or screw, but please note that it does not replace the expander installed inside a carbon fork steerer. During installation, ensure that the steerer, expander, and spacers are correctly positioned, preload the headset until there is no bearing play, and do not exceed Deda’s specified maximum torque of 3 Nm for the compression screw.
