An entry level model from Schwalbe has never been this good! This update was really worth it. The K-Guard anti-leak layer, a flexible 50 EPI carcass and the improved silica compound give the Lugano II racing performance at an excellent price.

The extra reinforced tread of improved silica composition is durable and non-slip at the same time.

Schwalbe has been using levels for many years to indicate puncture protection of her tires.
Two examples:
only Schwalbe has the tires that can be called "anti-puncture" (protection 7).
For mountain bikes, Tubeless became the standard for performance-oriented use with the
Schwalbe dust inserts from Tubeless Easy technology
together with sealing milk for optimum puncture protection (protection 6).
The DualGuard has been developed for fast, light bicycles that are used daily.
The combination of rubber insert and fabric insert is the perfect compromise
between daily and speed-oriented use.

Which tire fits which rim?

The so-called ETRTO size (European Tire and Rim Technical Organisation) consists of two numbers:
the first is the width of the tire in millimeters and the second is the diameter of the tire in millimeters.
City bikes usually have tire size 37-622: a 37 mm width and a 622 mm diameter.
The tire width must match the rim width.
The following chart shows possible combinations of tire widths and rim widths according to ETRTO.
