This self-adhesive rim tape protects the inner tube against damage caused by spoke nipples, metal burrs and any other sharp parts of the rim.
Please note, for road bike rims (13C, 14C) a rim tape with a width of 18 or 19 mm must be used!

Which tire fits which rim?

The so-called ETRTO size (European Tire and Rim Technical Organisation) consists of two numbers:
the first is the width of the tire in millimeters and the second is the diameter of the tire in millimeters.
City bikes usually have tire size 37-622: a 37 mm width and a 622 mm diameter.
The tire width must match the rim width.
The following chart shows possible combinations of tire widths and rim widths according to ETRTO.
