Replacing your front wheel tire is fairly simple and not necessarily something you would need a bicycle mechanic for.
The rear wheel tire is a different story, and one that many people prefer to take to a bicycle mechanic, rather than attempting to tackle it themselves.
Fortunately, fork spreaders make replacing your rear wheel tire a lot easier!
Simply place the fork spreader, with the new tire, in the opening between the wheel and the rear fork, then push the pliers together, creating an opening between the rear fork and the axle.
Make sure that there is plenty of space there.
Once this is the case, you can leave the pliers in this position while replacing your bicycle tire.
Although the pliers should remain in place, be mindful of your hands as you work (just in case!).
