These Cyclotech Prostop HP-A brake pad inserts are designed to fit compatible 55 mm Shimano and SRAM road rim-brake cartridge holders and are specially formulated for aluminum braking surfaces. They serve as a replacement for inserts that have worn down, hardened, become contaminated, or developed uneven rim contact, allowing you to keep your serviceable cartridge holders in use. Before ordering, be sure to check the holder profile and insert length, as Campagnolo holders and carbon-rim inserts utilize different designs and compounds. During installation, remove any aluminum fragments from the holders, slide the inserts in according to the directional marking, and secure them with the existing retention system. Finally, adjust the pad height, toe-in, and rim clearance before testing the brakes.
