The story of Tacx BV started when Koos Tacx was born in 1935.
He showed an interest in cycling at a very young age, eventually joined a cycling club and then buying a bicycle shop when he was 22 years old.
He started producing bicycle parts and later on he built his own factory.
At an advanced age Tacx cycled from Alkmaar to Heemstede, just for fun.
With his talent and determination Tacx managed to achieve his goal: creating a manufacturing company that is held in high regard by both professional and amateur cyclists worldwide.
