Eagle Transmission is a system for your mountain bike drivetrain that sets new standards in terms of functionality and reliability.
All components are built around the constant point of every bike: the center of the wheel.
All unnecessary parts have been eliminated to perform the basic functions to perfection.
The T-Type system is precisely matched for perfect operation and is not compatible with existing, older Eagle drivetrains.
With countless World Cup medals, winning streaks in the EWS and gold medals at the Olympic Games, the SRAM XX Eagle DUB crank has proven to be a guarantee for victory.
The extremely stable and stiff design is based on a carbon construction, which uses a weight-optimized hollow core in the XX SL Eagle crank.
Thanks to this complex architecture, it is currently the lightest ISO-certified crank on the market.
The crank is visually enhanced by the new T-Type Direct-Mount chainrings.
In addition to perfect chain running, this also includes a unique look.
The system is optimized for use on bicycles with a 55 mm chain line.
With this standard, the chainring is positioned further out to create space for wider tires in the rear.
The resulting large chain skew is very well compensated for by the special design of all drive components.

SRAM Corp. is a privately owned American company that produces bicycle parts.
SRAM was founded in 1987 in Chicago, Illinois (USA). SRAM manufactures mountain bike derailleurs, gear shifters, chains and cassettes.
It also offers a range of gear adjusters, brake levers and drum brakes for regular city bikes.
In October of 2006, SRAM introduced a complete group (all moving components) for road bikes.

SRAM’s number one competition in the business is Shimano.
SRAM only has a small share of the mountain bike parts market.
In October 2006 SRAM started manufacturing parts for road bikes, like its competitors Shimano and Campagnolo.
