ROCK SHOX fork 29 "REBA RL SA 100mm 15x100 Maxle Stealth tapered black 2020
The Reba has always stood for superior quality and performance as you are used to from RockShox. That's even more true today, because with the new chassis options, the Reba is a trailblazer in every discipline. From XC to lightweight trail inserts. With the technologies developed for SID, Reba and Revelation, the Reba is a complete solution for anyone who wants unmistakable RockShox performance in a proven package.
The Reba is a guarantee for a good balance of performance, lightweight construction and price. It shares the basic technologies of the top fork SID and provides a correspondingly good handling. The air spring allows the setting of the spring rate and characteristic curve via a positive and a negative chamber. The fork can be so perfectly matched to the weight of the driver, in addition, the progression can be adjusted using tokens to personal preference.
The damping motion control on the Reba RL has a factory-set trigger threshold, which triggers only on larger beats. During the journey, it is ensured that the fork does not wobble too much, even on a bump. For very hard starts and sprints, the fork also offers a lockout function, which can be operated depending on the version on the fork crown or the OneLoc remote control.
For Reba, there was no innovation in technology or design for 2020. The fork but a Maxle Stealth thru axle instead of the previously supplied in the scope Maxle Lite axle donated. This not only saves a few grams of weight, it also ensures a clean look on your bike.
Solo Air
The negative and positive air chambers are filled only by means of a valve at the same time. Which considerably simplifies the setting of the personal set-up.
Motion Control
Proven damping system, which has established itself as an integral part of the Reba for years.
Bottomless tokens
Allows individual adjustment of the air chamber size. This makes it possible for you to perfectly tune the spring characteristic of your fork to your travel stick.
Maxle Stealth
Very light thru axle which can be mounted and removed with a 6 mm Allen. In addition to a clean look, it also saves some weight on the unsprung mass.
Torque Caps
In order to improve the rigidity and steering precision of the overall system, the dropouts have been increased for the use of 31mm diameter end caps. Use with normal end caps is easily possible.

RockShox was founded by Paul Turner and Steve Simons in North Carolina (USA) in 1989.
It moved to California a few years later. Turner, who rode motorcycles in his teens, founded a company that sold motorcycle parts at the age of 18.
He would go on to work for the Honda Motor Company as the factory motocross team's mechanic, which put him in touch with suspension designers and other motocross industry leaders.
Former professional motocross rider and entrepreneur Simons designed a shock absorber for Fox Racing Shox and then went on to found his own company Simons Inc. to develop suspension forks.
He obtained two patents on suspension forks, one of which he licensed to the major motorcycle and suspension companies.
In 1989 Turner approached Simons to develop a suspension fork for mountain bikes.
In 1987, Turner had presented a full bike with front and rear suspension at the bicycle industry trade show in Long Beach, with the help of Keith Bontrager.
The industry was not impressed.
Two years later Turner and his wife Christi were producing suspension forks in their garage using parts they bought from Simons.
Turner soon became partner in Simons Inc.
Simons became CEO at RockShox. Turner brought in Greg Herbold as a test rider and company spokesman.
Herbold became the first world champion in downhill mountain biking on one of the first suspension forks made for mountain bikes.
In August 1990 the company produced its first 100 suspension forks, the RS-1.
The start-up was financed by the East Asian bicycle parts manufacturer Dia Compe, the founders, and other investors.
Dia Compe manufactured the next series of forks but later withdrew from manufacturing and disposed of its shares.
From then on, forks were primarily manufactured at RockShox.
