The streamlined upper utilizes a resilient polyurethane laminated material combined with comfortable mesh, resulting in reduced yield and long-lasting foot support where it’s needed most. The fit is practical and can be quickly adjusted with a single bidirectional Li2 BOA® dial.

Powerful and Responsive:
At the base, the designed carbon fiber layout of the R2 outsole saves weight while delivering more stiffness, with a stiffness index of 10, making this outsole the most responsive in the fizik range. A wide ventilation opening and deep internal channels ensure a cooling airflow, helping to regulate temperature. The placement of the cleat holes is slightly further back compared to traditional settings to optimize pedaling efficiency and reduce knee compression - especially suitable for very aggressive, forward aerodynamic positions.
