With the Decos, we wanted to create a performance road bike shoe for riders outside the demanding pro peloton.
Instead, the new Decos embodies Fizik's famous minimalist design at its best.
For these shoes, we've taken a disciplined approach to simplicity to deliver the pure on-road riding experience you've come to expect from fizik, from epic rides over big mountains to granfondos and more.
The sleek upper uses a resilient polyurethane laminated material combined with a comfortable mesh, resulting in reduced yield and long-lasting foot support where it's needed most.
The fit is practical and quickly adjusted with a single bi-directional Li2 BOA® twist closure.
At the base, the R2 outsole's advanced carbon fiber layout saves weight and provides increased stiffness, with a stiffness index
of 10, making this outsole the most responsive in the Fizik range.
A wide vent and deep internal channels provide cooling airflow, aiding temperature regulation.
The positioning of the cleats has been moved slightly further back compared to traditional settings to optimize pedaling efficiency and reduce knee compression - especially suitable for very aggressive, forward aero positions.
