In line with this approach, Fizik has equipped the shoe with the innovative closure, designed for an enveloping fit.

While most traditional Velcro closures simply contract two sides of the shoe's upper, the Powerstrap technique wraps a ribbon around the foot for secure closure with just two straps.
The instep and midfoot are individually adjustable for custom fit and compression.
