The Lumos Ultra MIPS features integrated COB LED lighting, turn signals, and smart functions for your safety all in one sleek package. Wearing lights high on your head offers multiple advantages.
Firstly, you are more visible to motorists on the road. You are less likely to find yourself in a situation where your lights are blocked by parked cars or other objects on the road.
Secondly, because your head is illuminated, drivers can see much better where you are looking and thus have a clearer idea of where you are headed.
The Lumos Ultra is also available with an option to add MIPS. This is an additional safety feature built into the helmet to provide protection against rotational movements transferred to the brain. Rotational movements affect the brain and increase the risk of mild to severe brain injuries.
Chips On Board (COB) is an LED housing that has several advantages over conventional technologies. It provides a more compact footprint and higher light intensity, making you visible from further away. It also ensures that the lights have a more uniform appearance. We like to consider it our best LED technology to date.
It is our most ventilated helmet yet. We have listened closely to customer feedback and carefully examined how the Ultra channels air through the internal ventilation system. We have created three large exhausts at the back to ensure that warm air is expelled, keeping the rider cool during both commutes and training sessions.
