Ready for your next adventure: The Katla MIPS helmet is inspired by the breathtaking landscape of its namesake, the Icelandic volcano Katla. It is the largest helmet in our range and is designed for the biggest adrenaline junkies - mountain bikers! To ensure you are optimally protected on your (e-)MTB, you must always wear a helmet without exception.

The Katla MIPS is made from a combination of a lightweight in-mold micro-shell plastic construction with a thin EPS inner shell and is also equipped with the MIPS system. What is MIPS? MIPS technology allows the helmet shell to move relative to the head during an angled impact. This protects your brain from rotational forces and serious injury.

With the Magnet Fidlock click closure, including padding, the helmet can be opened and closed with one hand without the risk of getting stuck. The integrated TriVider, an extra wide strap divider, ensures a high level of comfort and adjustment. Speaking of customization: thanks to the XY-sizer (adjustable dial) at the back of the helmet, the Katla MIPS can be individually adjusted in height and width. The cooling padding inside the helmet has an anti-sweat effect and is washable and replaceable.

The visor made from recycled maritime plastic and the integrated insect net make the Katla MIPS the ultimate companion outdoors. The straps made from recycled water bottles are reflective and provide extra visibility.
