The Contec "Abbey MIPS" helmet, named after the world-famous Abbey Road in London, is proof that safety can go hand in hand with style. With the Abbey MIPS, you can be sure you're ready to hit the road safely.

This city/urban helmet features a visor made from recycled maritime plastic and is constructed with a lightweight in-mold micro-shell and a thin EPS inner shell, also equipped with the MIPS system. What is MIPS? MIPS technology allows the helmet shell to move relative to the head during an oblique impact. This protects your brain from rotational forces and serious injury.

At the back of the helmet, there is an LED light that makes you more visible to other road users during twilight. The integrated light is rechargeable via a USB port, with a maximum light duration of 165 minutes. Another feature for enhanced visibility is the reflective bands on the Abbey MIPS, made from recycled water bottles!

With the Fidlock magnetic click closure, including padding, the helmet can be opened and closed with one hand without the risk of getting stuck. The integrated TriVider, an extra-wide strap divider, ensures a high level of comfort and adjustment. Speaking of customization: thanks to the XY-sizer (adjustable dial) at the back of the helmet, the Abbey MIPS can be individually adjusted in height and width. The cooling padding inside the helmet has an anti-sweat effect and is washable and replaceable.
