Our engineers maximized intake points for cool, fresh air, while optimizing exhaust ports and connecting everything with deep channels.
A lightweight, soft-touch, and absorbent pad set includes a brow pad with a special flange to channel sweat away from your eyes.
Two different cheek pads are included with each of the three sizes, allowing for a customizable fit, and they secure with a directional snap system that makes them easy to remove in the event of a crash.
At 1040 grams in size M/L, the Insurgent is 200 grams lighter than the Disciple™ MIPS, despite the addition of features including the advanced protection performance of Spherical Technology™.
Insurgent Spherical uses a pair of foam layers that act like a ball and socket to redirect impact energy in a crash.
One layer is EPS, which is well-suited for high-speed crashes.
The other is a lower-density EPP foam with rebound properties to address low-speed spills.
Additional features include a patent-pending Flex Gasket along the lower rim of the helmet, designed to reduce the role a helmet can play in certain types of collarbone fractures, tool-free breakaway visor bolts with integrated Allen key receivers for easy removal, and a central visor bolt hole, or B-Hole, that does double duty as the ideal mount for P.O.V. action cameras.
