That is how we describe our U-me design. You probably recognize the soft shapes and the fan pattern that immediately gives you that Japanese Iki feeling.
Partly due to the sleek line at the back of the bicycle seat, inspired by the automotive industry, the unique design has won an iF Design Award.
This line not only gives a modern look but also contributes to the sturdiness of the bicycle seat.
The design of the U-me rear seat focuses on head and side protection, to give you a feeling of confidence when you are excited to go on an adventure together.

Unique 5-point belt system: safe and user-friendly.
The 5-point belt goes over both the shoulders and the legs.
This way, your child always stays securely fastened during a bike ride, even if your child likes to play with the shoulder straps.
The left and right parts of the 5-point belt can be clicked into the buckle separately.
You can close it with one hand, so you keep the other hand free to keep the bike stable.
Very safe! The closure can also be folded forward, which frees the seat and prevents your child from sitting on the closure.
This gives you plenty of room to put your child in the seat.

Easy to change with other MIK accessories.
More and more bicycles are equipped with an integrated MIK HD system in the luggage carrier.
This allows you to quickly switch between different MIK accessories.
Because we at Urban Iki believe in the convenience of this system, we have developed special MIK HD rear seats that you can click directly onto these carriers.
You no longer need any mounting material or tools!

Please note: the MIK HD system is not the same as the regular MIK system.
MIK Heavy Duty has been specially developed to also be able to carry the extra weight of a child seat.

The material of the cushion is water-repellent and rainwater drains away automatically under the seat of the chair.

Easy to adjust for optimum comfort.
The U-me rear bicycle seat can be adjusted completely to your child, without the need for tools!
The height of the footrests can be adjusted to four positions, and you can easily click them from one position to the other.
The shoulder straps can be adjusted to three different heights.
This way you can always make the U-me rear seat fit, even for the littlest ones!
You can easily loosen or tighten the shoulder and foot straps.
