Single chainrings offer a simple solution: no front derailleur, less weight, fewer parts prone to dirt build-up and potential blockages, and improved chain safety without unnecessary overlapping chainrings - an ideal setup for gravel riding.

Constructed from two aluminum cranks and AISI 630 steel half-shafts, the crankset follows the smart material combinations found throughout the Ekar GT groupset, favoring lightweight construction without sacrificing efficiency or sustainability.

With the innovative ProTech technology, the two half-shafts in the bottom bracket are connected by a single robust screw. The oversized stainless steel bearing race, located on the crank, is mounted on the half shaft, ensuring maximum smoothness and resilience. This design makes inspection and maintenance easy, without the need to remove the cups.
