With carbon fiber components and low torque specifications becoming increasingly common in bicycle parts, a torque driver is an essential tool for bike maintenance, adjustment, and assembly. The ATD-1.2 is a shop-quality torque driver that limits the torque applied to bolts and fasteners. The torque setting of the ATD-1.2 is easily adjustable by hand to either 4, 4.5, 5, 5.5, or 6 Newton meters (Nm). Once the torque limit is reached, the tool emits a loud "click" and will not turn the fastener any further, preventing over-tightening and damage to lightweight components. It includes 1/4" hex drive bits in the four most common sizes for small bicycle fasteners, which are conveniently stored in the handle when not in use.

The ATD-1.2 features all-metal internal construction for years of reliable use, complemented by a comfortable, ergonomic molded composite body. Each tool is assembled and calibrated at the Park Tool factory in St. Paul, Minnesota.
