The reliable design of our FR-5.2 lockring tool includes an added 5 mm guide pin to stabilize the tool when used with quick-release hubs. The FR-5.2G is crafted to fit the most common tool fittings found on 7-to-12 speed cassette lockrings, including models made by Shimano®, SRAM®, and others. It also accommodates disc brake lockrings and lockring adapters with 12 internal splines. The thin wall construction allows for use without the need to remove cones and locknuts. The 1" hexagonal base can be utilized with a socket, wrench, or bench vise. Constructed from heat-treated alloy tool steel for a lifetime of durability.

Fits Shimano®, SRAM® (including 1x), SunRace®, SunTour®, Chris King® and other cassette lockrings. Also compatible with some Shimano® disc brake lockrings. The guide pin stabilizes the tool.
