Park Tool Retaining Ring Spanner HCW-17 for Fixed Gear

The HCW-17 features two different radius hooks for a precise fit on most fixed-gear lockrings. The HCW-17 has two different ends, sized to fit rings with an outside diameter of 41, 42, 43, and 44 mm. It also fits single speed cassette hubs using lockrings with external notches. Measuring 11-5/8” (29 cm) in length, it provides excellent leverage.

The Park Tool HCW-17 is designed to remove and install externally-notched lockrings, commonly found on fixed-gear rear cogs, single speed cassette hubs, adjustable cup-and-cone bottom brackets, and some mid-drive e-bike motor lockrings, including Bafang BBSH & BBS02. The HCW-17 features two hooks with different radii for a precise fit on a wide range of lockrings. It is constructed from spring steel and nickel plated for a lifetime of use.
