The BBT-22 is a professional-grade tool designed for the installation and removal of Shimano® and ISIS Drive® splined 20-tooth bottom bracket cups. Crafted from investment cast steel, the BBT-22 features a flat tooth profile that guarantees maximum engagement with the bottom bracket cup. It can be used with a 3/8” drive torque wrench, 3/8” ratchet driver, 32mm wrench, FRW-1 Freewheel Remover Wrench, or a 1” wrench.
The BBT-22 replaces the BBT-2 and is compatible with all bottom brackets serviced by the BBT-2.

Bottom brackets may need to be removed for servicing, replacement, or upgrades. The Park Tool BBT-22 is compatible with bottom brackets featuring 20 splines and a diameter of 32 mm. This fitting is commonly found on many cartridge bottom bracket models, including Shimano®, Truvativ®, RaceFace®, FSA®, and others. It also fits certain models of crankset lockrings, including Race Face®. The tool is designed to accommodate the oversized spindles of ISIS Drive and Octalink® cranksets. The high-quality tool steel body employs a flat tooth profile to ensure optimal engagement with bottom bracket cups. It can be operated using a wrench, socket, or 3/8" drive wrench.
