Ergon Grips Cork GP1-Large - Brown/Black

The GP1 BioKork has the same ergonomic grip as the other grips in the Ergon Performance Comfort series, but now with the added benefit of the unique antibacterial and hypoallergenic qualities of cork. Cork's natural damping qualities also make it an ideal grip material, and with its low density the grip is a lot lighter. This ergonomic grip is designed for touring bikes and mountainbikes. With the aluminum clamp the Ergon grip is easy to fasten and adjust to every angle. The GP1 Biokurk uses 40% cork, sourced from sustainable forests in Portugal, which is certified for ecologically sound production. All components of the grip were made or chosen with ecology in mind. The grip's inner core is plastic reinforced using natural fibre, which makes up 40% of its mass. Instead of mineral oil, the gel in the palm section of the grip is vegetable oil based.
The flared support plane provides additional rest and prevents numb hands. Thanks to the use of these innovative materials, the grip is almost entirely biodegradable or recyclable.
