DT SWISS thru axle VR RWS Plug In MTB with lever | 15x110 mm BOOST

The patented RWS wheel attachment system from DT Swiss is stiff, safe and easy to use.
The plug-in variant offers all the advantages of tool-free mounting of the thru axle, if you want.
If you prefer the clean look of a screw axle, simply pull off the lever unit and stow it in the backpack.
Or leave them at home. There is a 6 mm hexagon on the axle which can be operated with any standard tool.
There is also a 6 mm hexagon on the lever unit which can of course also be used as a mini tool on the go.

Because there are no plastic parts in the power flow with the RWS, the clamping force is independent of the temperature and therefore the RWS is 100% suitable for disc brakes!
Due to the direct transfer of the lever force to the thread, the RWS can achieve up to 50% higher clamping force than with conventional quick releases.
This is not only safer, but also increases rigidity, which is particularly noticeable with disc brakes.
