The innovative wheel securing system from DT Swiss!
Instead of the developed for racing bikes over 80 year old eccentric principle, the RWS, the clamping force is built up by tightening a bolt with a lever.
The operation is very simple: the tensioner by rotating the lever clockwise as tight as possible by hand tighten (min 15 Nm.).
Depending on the frame or fork construction this can be made by repeatedly moving the lever.
Then put the lever and rotate to the desired position - the wheel is fixed securely and strong.
