The plug-in variant offers all the advantages of tool-free mounting of the thru axle, if you want.
If you prefer the clean look of a screw axle, simply pull off the lever unit and stow it in the backpack.
Or leave them at home.
There is a 6 mm hexagon on the axle which can be operated with any standard tool.
There is also a 6 mm hexagon on the lever unit which can of course also be used as a mini tool on the go.
