In 1992 the Italian company Deda Elementi started manufacturing bicycle frames. 
Since the early days of steel Deda frames, a lot has changed. 
Deda Elementi switched from steel frames to the production of aluminum frames and then titanium frames, and after years of testing and developing Deda finally converted to carbon for the production of bicycle frames and components. 
Additionally Deda Elementi has considerably broadened its collection to include wheels, seatposts, headsets, handlebar tape, stems and Time Trial handlebars. 
In a short time period, Deda has taken Italian design and quality to a whole new level.
