The Bosch e-bike circlip is made of aluminum for Active and Performance Line drives of the 3rd generation
required for mounting a chainring.
Because it is an original spare part from Bosch, it is 100% perfectly fitting.

According to the manufacturer's specifications, the Bosch aluminum circlip must always be used in combination with
the correct O-ring since mid / end of 2015.
This O-ring can optionally be ordered with the product and protects the circlip against loosening.
