The Bikkel rear light is an integrated lighting solution.
It has been specially developed for the unique commuter carrier.
The concept is a collaboration between several experts from different areas: Basil, mik, massload and tracefy.

What makes the Bikkel so special?
That is the perfect integration of the rear light in the luggage carrier.
The Bikkel has a curved shape and it follows the lines of the carrier exactly.
The end result is a beautiful and elegant rear light with a sleek design.

With the Bikkel rear light you are always clearly visible.
It is equipped with the unique Contour Lighting Technology (CLT©).
This gives this rear light a wide light distribution.
The Bikkel has 50 small LEDs and a light output of 2.5 Cd around your luggage carrier, resulting in a visibility distance of 300 meters.

The e-bike version of the Bikkel is equipped with the innovative Stoplight function.
This function improves the safety of e-commuters, because a bright and safe beam of 19 candela is produced when the cyclist slows down, brakes and stops in traffic.
The function is activated at a speed change of approximately 1.25-1.5 m/s, resulting in a visibility distance of 500 meters.

In addition to the Bikkel rear light, the luggage carrier has a few other novelties.
These are the Basil shock absorbing tube, the MIK integration system and optionally the Tracefy GPS system.
For extra safety, the Bikkel can be combined with the RR 02 reflector.

The Bikkel complies with German and Danish law (XEr).
The XDS and XE versions also comply with French law.
