3T was founded in Turin in 1961 by Mario Dedioniggi, a highly talented engineer.
When cycling began regaining popularity in the 1950s, Mario thought it prudent to anticipate that trend and use it to his advantage, by learning the craft of building bicycles.
At his own small-scale factory he soon discovered that seatposts, handlebars and so on, were made from lightweight steel.
He subsequently decided to use aluminum instead, making parts much lighter.
As he experimented with materials, production increased and sales figures started to rise.
3T made the first 250 gram Ergal bar and the first time trial bar. 
Today, 3T is generally admired for the elegance and originality of its products.
An international company that produces state of the art products and is a very reliable manufacturer of road bike parts.
