With the Avanti, Elite presents a device that has all the relevant features of a modern bike trainer and therefore offers you a complete indoor training experience.
Highlights of the Avanti are the +/-1 percent accurate power meter with automatic calibration, super-fast 10 Hz data transfer, built-in WiFi and Dual Bluetooth connectivity and the Flex Feet elastomer legs.

Despite the long list of features, the Avanti is designed for quick and easy commissioning and user-friendliness.
This is also evident from the practical drawer in the lower part of the trainer housing, where all the supplied adapters for attaching your bike fit.
This means you always have them at hand.
Because the Avanti is delivered fully assembled, all you have to do is mount a suitable cassette on the freewheel of the trainer and you are ready to go.

In addition to the necessary Bluetooth and ANT+ connectivity, the smart trainer also has an integrated WiFi module.
This allows you to connect the Avanti to your home network via wireless internet, enabling automatic firmware updates and responsive data transfer to the most popular indoor training apps.

Less digital, but all the more noticeable are the Flex-Feet legs, which allow for slight lateral tilting of the trainer, thus mimicking the dynamics of cycling on the road.
The elastomer legs are also designed to prevent premature fatigue and counteract tension.
The further reduced noise level of the Direct Drive trainer, which is already extremely quiet, also contributes to the complete immersion in the virtual training experience.

The pedal resistance of up to 2100 watts is very realistic, so that you can complete any workout, no matter how tough.
The slope simulation of up to 18 percent does the rest.
The integrated Power Torque power meter gives you watt values ??with a maximum deviation of 1%, so that you can precisely control your training and accurately document your progress.
Regular calibration is no longer necessary here - the Avanti calibrates itself automatically and unnoticed in the background.
Those who often ride in ERG mode will also be happy about the new "Easy Start" function, which makes restarting after unplanned breaks much easier.

In addition, the Avanti has many other useful functions that make it easier to connect to virtual bike apps and all kinds of peripherals - including dual Bluetooth support, a Bridge function for integrating sensor signals and the option of a secure cable connection via Ethernet.

The two stand-alone modes, on the other hand, work completely without an app or even a power cable - for quick training sessions in between or warming up for a competition, for example.

The Avanti offers everything you can expect from a modern indoor trainer and is probably at the top of the wish list of many cyclists, both as a classic winter trainer and for fanatic cycling all year round.

Power meter:
The accuracy of the Avanti's data during training is made possible by the Optical Torque Sensor (OTS).
This sensor is a built-in power meter that ensures that your wattage is measured with a maximum deviation of +/- 1%.
Cadence is also recorded automatically.

Faster performance recording:
In the Avanti, the frequency for measuring power, speed and cadence is recorded at 10 Hz, i.e. read out 10 times per second.
And not only when using wired TCP-IP devices such as the Elite Gateway, but also via the Bluetooth protocol.
This means that changes in your performance are communicated to compatible apps very quickly, which can give you a decisive advantage, especially in competition situations.

Interactive stiffness simulation:
The Avanti is an interactive bike trainer and therefore automatically varies the resistance.
It can simulate inclines of up to 18%, developing a power of 2100 watts at a speed of 40 km/h.

Extensive compatibility:
The Avanti offers maximum compatibility with racing bikes, gravel bikes and mountain bikes.
With the included HG-L freewheel and end caps for quick-releases and 12x142 thru axles, many frames and drive systems are directly compatible.
The optional freewheel body can also be used to mount Campagnolo cassettes, SRAM XD/XDR cassettes and SHIMANO Micro Spline cassettes.
Adapters for other thru axle sizes are available separately.

Interactive in all areas:
The Avanti is part of the new generation of interactive bike trainers with ANT+™ FE-C & Bluetooth that can be combined with apps, software, computers and other devices (smartphone and tablet) with IOS, Android, OSX and Windows.
Training distances or programs can be created in a few simple steps and you can start immediately.
The bike trainer automatically adjusts the resistance.
The Avanti can be controlled with Elite’s My E-Training software (available free for 12 months) or other Indoor Cycling platforms, including: Zwift, TrainerRoad, Rouvy, RGT, The Sufferfest, Bikevo, Bkool, Kinomap and many more.

Integrated WiFi connectivity:
The integrated WiFi module allows you to connect the trainer to your 2.4GHz home network via wireless internet, enabling automatic firmware updates and responsive data transfer to the most popular indoor training apps.

Shimano Di2 compatible:
If you have a bike with a SHIMANO Dura-Ace Di2 R9200 or Ultegra Di2 R8100 12-speed groupset, you can pair it with the Avanti.

If you are using a SHIMANO Dura-Ace Di2 R9100 or Ultegra Di2 R8000 11-speed groupset, you will need a separately available wireless transmission unit (SHIMANO EW-WU101 or EW-WU111) to pair.
You can then control the pedal resistance of the Avanti in stand-alone mode by pressing the buttons on the gear levers.
If you use apps such as ZWIFT or MyWhoosh, you can also temporarily suspend the pedal resistance completely.

Automatic calibration:
With the Elite Avanti bike trainer, you can save yourself the hassle of regular manual calibration.
Your Smart Trainer can adapt to you by automatically calibrating at the right time.
A new feature that always supports your training with accurate measurements - even after changes in location, temperature, etc.

Stand-Alone mode:
The Avanti Smart Trainer has two stand-alone modes to use it even when it is not connected to the software or even when it is not connected to the power supply.
Without app control, you can simulate a training on the road with a preset incline value between 0 and 18 percent.
Without power supply, you can use the second stand-alone, which regulates the resistance depending on the speed, just like a fluid trainer.
You can preset the difficulty level with a value from 1 to 16.

Compatible with Rizer and Sterzo:
Intensify your training experience with other Elite accessories such as the Rizer incline simulator.
This way you feel the ascent and descent not only through the wattage resistance, but also through the horizontal incline of your bike, just like with a real outdoor training.
Or you can use the Elite Sterzo front wheel support to steer your avatar in Zwift using real steering movements instead of following the predefined riding line (integrated into RIZER).

ERG Easy STart & Power Smoothing:
The Easy Start function in ERG training mode makes it easier to get started if you had to pause for a moment at a high wattage.
As soon as the flywheel stops, the trainer reduces the resistance and increases it again after a few revolutions of the pedals.
With an additional Power Smoothing function, you can "smooth" the output power values ??in four steps, so that the number jumps are less disturbing.

Bridge Function and Bluetooth Dual Channel:
To give you maximum freedom when setting up your smart trainer, the Avanti can be connected to two Bluetooth devices at the same time, for example your tablet with installed trainer app and your bike computer.
An unlimited number of additional devices can be integrated via ANT+.
The Bridge function also makes it possible to enter the signal from a heart rate monitor or cadence sensor into the Bluetooth FTMS signal to bypass the Bluetooth limitations of other devices such as Apple TV.

Detailed pedalling analysis:
With the detailed pedalling analysis, the Avanti can analyse differences in the generated power between the right and left leg, recognise imbalances and help you work on them in a targeted manner.
Cadence, pedalling efficiency and the efficiency of force and torque can also be measured.
The pedalling analysis function is available for a fee in the My E-Training software from Elite.

Lateral movements thanks to Flex Feet.
The Elite Avanti now makes the riding experience even more realistic.
Flexible elastomer feet allow for slight lateral tilting movements to give your training a more natural dynamic.
