Square is a frame designed to replace your bike during workouts with a stationary trainer, so you no longer have to switch or assemble the bike you use outdoors.

The Square is fully adjustable and offers numerous customization options for cyclists of various sizes, with seven adjustment possibilities for saddle height, tilt angle, fore-aft position, handlebar height and fore-aft position, top tube length, and crank arm length.

Virtual shifting and customizable gear ratios

The Elite Smart Frame features an advanced virtual shifting system that provides extensive customization options when configuring the gears.

With Square, you can replicate the three major manufacturers Shimano, SRAM, and Campagnolo with customizable gear and sprocket configurations to accurately mimic your bike's shifting.

All you need to do is select the desired shifting system in the dedicated Square app when you first use it to emulate the gear groups of the leading manufacturers with 13 customizable presets and adjust the gear ratios to your liking, including the number of gears and cassette teeth.

Square also offers two modes for preset profiles: for gears and sprockets, divided into different training types (flat, uphill, mixed). You can also immediately use a practical preset Shimano 12-speed profile (11-30).

Additionally, it includes a customizable sequential shifting system with variable resistance levels ranging from 5 to 24 levels.

Finally, you operate the lever and button systems on the handlebars just like you would on your bike.

Multifunctional handlebars

The handlebars feature two mirrored lever controls that allow training apps to integrate special controls like Zwift Play and provide touchless interaction with the screen on which the training platform is loaded.

The handlebars have the same buttons and levers for shifting and braking as bikes with Shimano, SRAM, or Campagnolo shifting systems, located in the same place on the square and with the same function.

Each controller is equipped with 10 buttons: 4 buttons to control Zwift or other apps, 1 button to directly control the airflow intensity of Aria, Elite's smart fan, when connected; 1 button to activate virtual steering on Zwift and move your avatar left or right on the course, 2 shifting buttons, 1 button for the Campagnolo shifting system, and 1 button for braking, activated by the brake lever.

Combinations and pressing levers and buttons allow for additional control, such as longer shifting, switching between manual and simulated mode with Aria, or switching from one profile to another.

Handlebar specifications

Buttons and controls are positioned above the grips and handlebars for a comfortable and unobstructed grip. Ideal for maintaining a correct posture during training and comfortably operating the buttons. The handlebars have a width of 420 mm with a flare of 6°, perfect for maximum comfort during long training sessions or the most extreme races.

What makes the handlebars even more comfortable are the grips with soft, non-slip silicone covering, similar to most real bikes. In addition to providing a more comfortable grip, they ensure a firmer hold and longer durability.

The Square includes a pre-installed bracket with a Garmin mount that is compatible with the most popular bike computers on the market.

Fully adjustable from XS to XL

Thanks to the adjustable structure, the Square maximizes the configuration of your setup and allows you to easily replicate the dimensions of any bike in various sizes and heights, with different adjustable options from XS to XL.

In just a few steps, you can customize Square to your bike by adjusting the various areas to match the dimensions of your frame, respecting your pedaling motion and muscle memory during indoor training.

Square is designed with an architecture that allows precise adjustments in millimeters:

Saddle height, tilt, fore and aft adjustment

Crank length
All you need to do is read the measurements indicated on the adjustment ranges, which are provided with millimeter scales, to adjust the frame in a few simple steps to your riding needs and the dimensions of your outdoor bike.

Adjustable crank arm length

There are five different configurations available to adjust the crank arm length and fully customize the Smart Frame to your bike's specifications.

Available settings: 165 mm, 167.5 mm, 170 mm, 172.5 mm, 175 mm.

Thanks to the wide range of settings, you can share your setup with other cyclists using the Square without having to switch bikes for different users.

You no longer need to disassemble and reassemble your bike if you don't have a dedicated indoor bike or if multiple cyclists in your household use the same stationary trainer.

You no longer need a spare gear set for the indoor bike, and you don't have to keep all adapters and books on hand to attach the bike to the stationary trainer.

Square also makes setting up your stationary trainer easy by eliminating the cassette in favor of a single sprocket installed on the trainer.

With this handy configuration, users can quickly connect any stationary trainer to the frame without needing to adjust the bike's rear derailleur as with a traditional setup.

Simple and direct installation and connection

The Square is plug-and-play as it operates on batteries and does not require a power supply when in use. This allows you to focus solely on mounting the Square with the stationary trainer and any accessories.

Installation and connection to the stationary trainer are straightforward and ready to use thanks to the accessories and adjustment keys included in the delivery and the Square control app.

This allows you to configure your frame and connect the stationary trainer to the Smart Frame at first use by simply clicking on the nearest recognized Smart Trainer.

Check your training even without a connection

The Elite Smart Frame offers you the versatility to be used in stand-alone mode, even when not connected to a specific training app. Ideal if you are using the device in an area with poor connectivity.

By simply using the levers on the handlebars, you can adjust the resistance in 16 levels, regardless of which lever is pressed, giving you full control over your training, even without connectivity.

An integrated system with all Elite stationary trainers and accessories

The Square is also smart as it can be perfectly integrated with Elite's entire range of interactive technology for indoor cycling.

The modular structure offers the advantage of updating the setup at different times by simply replacing the front support leg with the Rizer, Elite's incline simulator with an integrated steering system. Square is perfectly compatible to provide you with the most realistic climbing experience in the indoor cycling market.
