The Mavic Cosmic SLR 45 Disc Center Lock Thru Axle 12x100 mm is made of faster, stiffer and lighter carbon for racing bikes with disc brakes.
The 45mm aerodynamic rim not only cuts the wind with minimal drag, but is also one of the lightest in its category.
This season the external carbon layer features its new UD2 construction for a distinctive look and an even lighter rim lamination, saving a further 15g per rim.

- A new rim lamination together with the exclusive Fore Carbon technology leaves the upper rim bridge intact and strengthens the rim only where necessary, saving 40g per rim.
- The spokes are attached to the rim without having to pierce the upper rim bridge, so no rim tape is required.
- This means more weight savings (30g) and less hassle when setting up or repairing tubeless tires.
- The new shape of the rim base makes mounting and dismounting tires easier than ever. The UST Tubeless setup means there's no inner tube, so no friction, and more air volume means a smoother ride.
- The result is a faster ride with very low rolling resistance. Finally, the patented elliptical spokes save another 5 watts.
